Effects
The blue lotus is both narcotic and euphoric, becoming slightly hallucinogenic at higher doses. It is also said that the flower improves sexuality and has an effect similar to Viagra.
Nuciferine is correlated to the dopamine receptor blockade which controls motivation, pleasure, cognition, memory, learning, and fine motor control. This could induce sedation, hypothermia (bodily temperature drops), in higher doses decreased sensitivity to pain and it acts as a muscle relaxer.
Usage
To make tea, simply use 0.25 gram and soak in hot water.
When 0.25 gram is soaked in wine for 24 hours it will have a noticeable and very pleasant synergy with the wine.
Another way of ingesting Blue lotus is through vaporizing it at 100°C to 125°C, however, because it is a resin you need to ensure that the vaporizer used is appropriate for this.
