Trichocereus peruvianus 'Chochão' – 20 Cactus Seeds
This pack contains 20 seeds of Trichocereus peruvianus var. Chochão, a columnar cactus variety native to Peru. The Chochão type is known for its thick stems, bluish-green color, and long spines. It is a fast-growing cactus that does well in full sun and well-draining soil.
These seeds are suitable for growers with some experience in cactus cultivation, as they require patience and consistent care during the germination and seedling phases. Under the right conditions, germination typically occurs within 10 to 30 days.
Cultivation: This variety of cacti love a spot with a lot of sun. A window on the south is the best, or in summertime you can place them outside on a terrace in the full sun.
These cacti have a good resistance to high and low temperatures, although they do not like temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius.
Like most cacti, Trichocereus Peruvianus cacti are resistant against dry periods. During the growth-season, water them once every two weeks by soaking the soil completely.
Sowing tip: Place seeds on moist cactus soil, cover lightly, and keep warm (20–30°C) with high humidity until germination.
