The 'Flow' from Black Leaf® is an activated charcoal adapter for bongs made of borosilicate glass that connects the bowl and the chillum. You can fill it with activated charcoal pellets (found here), which filters most of the unwanted combustion substances from the smoke.
The smoke tastes better because the aroma of the herbs is more unaltered. And it is also more gently for the lungs. Another advantage is that the bong does not get dirty as quickly.
Alternatively, the adapter can also be filled with water. This also filters the smoke, but the integrated dome percolator provides additional cooling of the smoke.
The 'Flow' is available for SG14 and SG19 insert sizes.
