In Japan, this mushroom has been used for centuries for its purported supportive and restorative effects on the mind. It is a really special appearance when you encounter him in the woods, hanging from a tree stump. What makes Lion's mane so special? The hericenones and erinacines (alkaloids present in Lion's mane) ensure that the body stimulates the production of the body's own substance NGF. NGF stands for nerve growth factor. NGF is necessary for the growth of certain neurons in our brain. It also plays a role in myelination. A process that takes care of signal transmission through the nerves.
 
The Foodsporen® Lion's mane capsules are, like all their products, made from the fruiting bodies of this special mushroom. They do not use the mycelium grown on grain. In this way they offer you an honest, powerful and pure product. In addition, all of their extracts, and therefore also the Foodsporen® Lion's mane capsules, are standardized at no less than 30% polysaccharides!

Foodsporen only uses the fruiting bodies for each of its products. No fillers or mycelia grown on grains. The Lion's mane capsules have a high concentration ratio of no less than 8:1.

The capsules come in a sealed Miron glass bottle to ensure longevity it's constituents. The bottle is UV protective and is considered optimal for the storage of herbs and supplements.
