Made from wild and sustainably harvested Caupuri vine in the southern part of the state Amazonas. Definitely one of the strongest Caapi varieties from Brazil, the Caupuri is easily recognizable by its large knots, and is locally called "A General". 30 kilos of fresh-harvested vines were used to produce 1 kilo of this paste.

Although not considered to be a psychedelic by itself, Banisteriopsis Caapi has gained a reputation for it's healing properties, especially as the main ingredient of the visionary brew Ayahuasca.
Banisteriopsis caapi, also known as caapi or yaje, is a jungle vine native to the Amazon rainforest which is commonly used for its MAO-inhibiting properties as the basis of ayahuasca. In addition to its hypnotic effect, caapi is used for its healing properties as a purgative, effectively cleansing the body of parasites and helping the digestive tract.
